Questions We Get a Lot
A louvered pergola features adjustable aluminum slats in the roof that you can open or close to control sunlight and airflow, making it a versatile year-round option. A canopy pergola uses a fabric cover that provides shade but offers less weather protection than a solid or louvered roof. If you want more control over your outdoor environment, a louvered design is worth considering.
Our pergolas are designed with the home assembler in mind and arrive with the hardware and components needed for setup. Most customers complete assembly with standard household tools and a helper for lifting the frame sections. We recommend reviewing the included instructions fully before you begin, and reaching out to our team if you have questions along the way.
Aluminum is a popular choice for outdoor structures because it resists rust and corrosion, holds up against moisture, and does not warp or rot the way wood can over time. Our louvered models also feature integrated drainage systems designed to channel rainwater away from the structure so your patio stays dry. For specific load and wind ratings, we recommend checking the product detail page for the model you are considering.

About Our Pergolas
A pergola is one of the most rewarding additions you can make to an outdoor living space. Whether you want a defined area for dining, a shaded spot to unwind after a long day, or a structure that ties together your patio or deck, a well-chosen pergola creates that sense of intention and comfort that makes the outdoors feel like a true extension of your home. Today's pergolas range from open-beam canopy styles that offer partial shade and a classic aesthetic, to fully louvered hardtop structures with adjustable roofs that let you dial in exactly how much sun or breeze you want at any given moment. Integrated drainage, powder-coated finishes, and reinforced aluminum frames are features worth prioritizing if you want a structure that performs season after season with minimal upkeep. When choosing a pergola, consider your available space, the primary way you plan to use it, and how much weather protection you need. Size, roof style, and frame material are the three decisions that will shape your experience most. The right pergola turns an ordinary backyard into a space you genuinely look forward to being in.
